I have been looking around for an amp for my 6.5"s for quite some time now.

Just lately ACTUALLY started looking for some on craigslist.

Best locally I could find was a Kicker 08 ZX650.4 for 200$ shipped..

I dont really want to spend 200$ on that amp because I think I can get better for cheaper.

What would you guys say?

Doesn't need to be beast, 100watts per channel at 4ohm is good. as the 6.5"s I got are 80watt RMS , although will be doing quite a few more 6.5"s when I get money for a better car/system/equipment.

Just looking for something to get me by right now with still being able to feed my 6.5"s clean power.

Budget I would like to place at like <120$, but if I cant get anything grand for 120 i can make it about 150-180.

mb quarts look them up and they sound great on mine

That's why they don't deliver.

Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait.

You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start :D

I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

Just an FYI, the gator is supposed to eat the number when looking for less.

Example: Budget<$200

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

Hm alright,

I seem to have found two:

125x4 channel 160$ http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_27474_MB-Quart-ONX4.125.html?utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=froogle

100x4 channel 140$ http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_33005_MB-Quart-FX4.100.html

Not bad amps, do they do are they over-rated or under-rated? or about accurate? hehe.

Any other opinions?

honestly in that price range beggars cant be choosers. those arent great amps but its a tiny budget.

Understandable, lol. Just dont really want to drop stacks on an amp I wont be using to its full potential for quite some time.

Might pick up one of the above amps.

that ONX4.125 is a pretty solid choice, it does close to it's rated power.

The prime rule I live by in car audio... decide what you want, the quality you want, and save like a mofo. In the end you will be happy you bought what you wanted instead of replacing everything later and trying to sell your junk off at a loss.
