What are you going to do if your tuned in the 40-50's ?

Take the box out and redesign it. With some of your help ofcourse to get the right port dimensions .

from the looks of it, he's tuned right at almost 40 hz.

and pvg, soon i should have my calculator updated with the ability to use cm or mm. just have literally like 2 to 3 things to work out. may find it useful

Udate time!!!!

Fiks some corners.

When you look into the port.

Me preparing for some sanding.

In the car with some cables.

Finnaly a demo.

A bit shaking metal but i hope to fiks it.

Find a other space for the amp because its getting a bit hot.

I got the amp running for like a couple hours. Every time a bit higher.Or else i might blow it.

Still a lot to do.

Sound proofing the doors and trunk.

Still painting the box.

Place the amp somewhere else.

Maybe in about a week i redo the subwooferbox.

The backseat cant close when the box is in the car.

And the amplifier doesnt run on full power because its new.

Some say like total of 20 hours warming up ( everytime a bit more power, not direct full power. doesnt know the correct term.)

If someone can help me with the box design it would be awsome, the most box calculators are in inches not in CM .

And i want to know if the next box needs to be closed or ported.

( some info about the kit, 12 inch 700 watt soundstream sub with a Hifonics txi 3000 amp 350 watt rms bridged.)

I just checked over your numbers, and if you can extend your port along the back wall about 45-50cm, it should come out to around 77 liters, and tuned to about 34-35Hz. Just a suggestion. You did a great job building that box though, it looks good.

Only thing is i need to cut a few centimeters of 1 side of the box. Its a bit to big for the trunk.

But then im going to calculate my *ss of trying to find the 34 35 hz.

Well, if you have to cut a side off to shorten the box, then you can get in there to extend the port. If you want a box calculator to mess around with, I use WinISD. You can change all of the measurements over to metric for ease of use. I only use it to find out how long the port has to be for the tuning I want though, I do all of the other math myself.
