BassJunkie
Well when its warm outside my sub doesn't sound half bad. But now that its cold out it sounds like SHIT complete SHIT, I hate it, I want to throw it against something hard. Is there anything I could do to make it sound better in the cold? If not i'll just probably take it out for the winter Quote 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free. BassJunkie
this pisses me off lol, the only thing I found that works SORT OF is cranking the heat until i'm about to have a heat stroke, but even then it sucks Quote 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free. ChampN252
People I know used to say the same thing about the cold and their subs. I didn't believe, still don't really. I don't see how cold weather makes it play worst. It should play better since it can pull cooler air. I've never had that problem. Could it be the vehicle rattling more since the cold air is stiffening it? Quote 2012 Honda Accord Radio: Pioneer AVH-4200NEX

roscoe1129
I have never had an issue of them sounding like ass crackers.....but I did turn them up once when I first started the car (old jlaudio setup) and heard then pop, so I just let them "warm" up at mid volume now b4 hittin it hard when its cold. Big P
It depends on the tuning of the box and the tolerances of the sub. It could go ether way
