Correct me if Im wrong here, this is an assumption. many people get a "new" vehicle and dog the shit out of it to see what it can do. I get behind dumbasses all the time in cars with used car lot tags on them. Sitting at the red light, light changes, then they try to take off in it like they are at the drag strip. Im guilty of that. When i had my 05 celica gt 5speed i ran that bastard hard for the first few days. Dont worry bout it at. All cars break down whether it be a 2012 or a 1985. My stepmoms 96 Accord has seen less shop time than my dads 02 tacoma and the tacoma only has 40k miles on it to the accords 167k. Shit happens.
