Ram1989custom
Is there anything special I need to do before I start to bag my Dodge D150, aside from get smaller tires, notching, putting a fuel cell in, and cutting my bed up?? Will I more than likely need new arms? n8ball2013
if you are trying to truly lay frame id expect to spend a lot of money nad probably have to have all new suspension components up front. the back isnt that hard. Ram1989custom
Yeah, I am not worried about the back at all. In fact, I am looking forward to doing the back. The front is what I am worried about haha. I am planning on getting it completely done by summer next year. The reason why I say that late is because of the fact that I am still in High School haha. brads0069
plan on doing some cutting up front maybe even a z-notch. how big are your rims/tires. This gen of dodges have a messed up front susp when you drop them super far the steering hits the control arms. You can use dakota drop spindles on the front because they share the same ball joints. Ram1989custom
I have 20" rims, they are 9" wide and the tires I am putting on for when I bag them are going to be 275/40/20s. numatik
I have 20" rims, they are 9" wide and the tires I am putting on for when I bag them are going to be 275/40/20s. be sure they are the right offset and will tuck into the fenders just right. the front to fully lay frame is going to require a full underhood relocation. I have not bagged your specific truck, but most likely will need upper and lower a arms or a full rebuild fab of your factory ones. since your new I dont think you want to attempt the task of modding arms, so i would just buy them. parts get very expensive, and you said your in high school, how ever much you think its going to cost double it. just do your research before you start. Ask lots of questions, I have lots of answers and so do other members on this forum. homiewes
what he said ^^ its a very expensive task to lay frame.. and yeah you will have to do a LOT of relocating, and sacrifice lots of goods. i had to get rid of my AC and Heater core. almost lost my ABS too.
