DRauck
my friend said face it forward and ported with ports to the side Well if you trust him then go for it. Good luck! You can always build another box if you are displeased with how it sounds Edit: But seriously you don't have room to port it and will probably damage your subs. 2011 Honda CR-Z Mugen 12" Kicker SoloX Subwoofer Rockford Fosgate t20001bd Pioneer AVIC-X930BT Head Unit Build Log

Just build the damn box and stop hesitating. We can't watch you build it or tell you EXACTLY how each cut has to be made. Build it and see if it sounds good. If not, then build another one a little differently. It's your setup, not anyone elses... BassMunky
We made an mdf ring that went around the sub and then cut it into 4ths. So like we took the ring and cut it in 4 pieces and used 2 on each side (one on each side of each sub like on the picture). I hope that makes sense. As for space, you'd be right on. This is with subtracted 1.5" for your trim rings which should be doubled up MDF to make it 1.5" in thickness This is with subtracted 1.5" for your trim rings which should be doubled up MDF to make it 1.5" in thickness what you subtracted from what? DRauck
remeber now i need atleast 6.5 of mounting depth. With the angle I think there should be enough clearance. If not, mount the subs lower? 2011 Honda CR-Z Mugen 12" Kicker SoloX Subwoofer Rockford Fosgate t20001bd Pioneer AVIC-X930BT Head Unit Build Log
