Team_DC-Derrick Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Sorry Stephen your wrong, I had a perfect cut off line with my stock housings. Like I said some people don't take the time to adjust them. thats a LIE ive installed hids in extremes and aimed them way down. and you still get a huge glare on whatever is in front of you. Think what u want I know for a fact. You never seen mine so you wouldn't know. Kthxbye. not jumping in the argument, but if you want to shut him up, just go out and take a pic and prove it... no more arguing about it, it will be done LOL just saying, no one believes what anyone says on here with out proof..... i have a decent cut off on mine, but im not rocking stock housing either.. but it seems no one in ohio cares about HIDs, personally I think they are a ton safer *when done right* than stock headlights, because its hard to see with stock ones, but HIDs i can see clear as day The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... I just realized Steve has reach Voldemort status, over on JP's site he is the one who will not be named....."We dont speak his name over here, fearing it will destroy us" LOL not even in hush tones

Bakerman Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 If everyone went the extra mile and bought the housings and had them done right it wouldnt be an issue, but as long as theres the half ass DIYs out there thinkin its cool to pretty much drive with their high beams on it should be ticketed accordingly. As far as bagging and lifting it should be ticketed accordingly also, ive seen some very dangerous backyard weekend jobs as well. I have a lifted truck, but i spent the time and money to do it right ^^^Couldn't have said it better myself. It aggravates the hell out of me to see these young kids drive around w/ single beam HID's in there dual beam headlight housings just b/c they think HID's are awesome. For instance, my focus takes a 9007 bulb, which is a high/low beam bulb. And the housing has two openings...one for the 9007 bulb, and one for my corner marker. In order to have proper HID's I had to buy a housing w/ three openings. One is for and H2 Low Beam, one is a projector opening for an H3 high beam, and the third is for my corner marker. Yes, it takes extra money to buy the new harnesses, and some time/know how to switch the one 9007 harness to two seperate Hbulb housings, but in the end it is done right, looks stock, and means no tickets!
