Supercharged DCs
So 6" away for best results. That's what I figured, just wanted to clear it up... So 14" long would give me 5.5" away from the back wall, sounds good to me. You say 4 6" aeros 14" long a piece will give me 32hz tuning and 13cubes? Would the 4 6" be enough port? I can always add extra 2x4s for bracing to take up a cube or two. Also, how does removable aeros work? I'd like to have a low tuned daily setup and be able to switch it up for comps Thanks so much for the help y'all, I truly appreciate it!!! Quote Bassless once again. OrionStang
As far as making them removable, you can use gorilla tape to attach the inside flare to the tube. To remove them, you would need to remove a sub first and take it apart and slide it out. For port area, it is near the smaller end of the spectrum, but should still work well. Most the time, you can use less area with aero's than a standard port. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
OrionStang
If you take up 1 extra cube with bracing, port area should be in a sweet spot, and tuning will only change to 33.3. The subs might like the box more, too. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
Supercharged DCs
Sounds like a good deal! Thanks for the help man... One last question, where can I find some good 6" aeros? I've looked on Darvex and Parts Express, didn't see any, but may have missed it. Direct link me to ones you would recommend, if any Quote Bassless once again. OrionStang
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=268-354 Look around for them, might be cheaper in the classifieds or ebay. I recommend only buying new, though. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
