bigtuna Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 So i am looking at buying a new system for my 97 toyota tercel. I have been looking at buying a Rockford Fosgate T2D215, but have been having other thoughts. I want a sub that is going to slam, i wanna be heard from a ways away. Is this the sub to do it? I am really new into car audio and need some help. My budget for sub and amp is about 750 to 800 dollars. Thanks Quote

Louisiana Bass Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 Dc XL 15" and a Crescendo BC2000. Shouldn't come out to more than 800$. Quote N8. No homo...unless you want there to be.

BJD3 Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 I know the Tercel is a relatively small car. Do you have the space for a 15? Not just height wise, but airspace wise? If not you may be better off using a smaller subwoofer. Quote Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above. corey0928 Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 Dont reccomend a XL and bc2000 only cuz I'm guessing he's new to audio and wont do proper upgrades and wont set gains right to keep both working properly Quote
raolito1980 Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 Cant assume hes going to do anything incorrect. Thats why we are here to help if he has any questions. DC XL and BC2000 sounds real good, though. Quote 2012 GMC SIerra CC System Build Headunit--Stock Sub Amp--DC 2.0k Subs--2-SA8v2's Enclosure--Need one made!! kam311 Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 (edited) Or 2 sundown sa-10's on a bc2000 or on a aq1200, so you don't have to do any electrical upgrades and that will save you a little money to buy mdf!!! The box is going to be on of the most iportant parts of your build, don't overlook the importance of it, that will be the difference between a slamming or just a decent "whatever" system Edited July 5, 2011 by kam311 Quote so far...
