6berry Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 I am planning on building a 4th order box for 4 10's soon. The box is going to be in the trunk sealed off with the port facing forward. I was wanting to put the port through the armrest so that i dont always have to ride with the seat down but i was wondering if doing this would affect the tuning of the port? Also what would you suggest for as far as port area? The ported side will be around 4.8 cubes 1999 Audi A4 1.8T::: 4 - DC Level 3 10's in a 4th order Rockford P6002 on Subs for now (3-3.5k coming eventually) MB Quart ONX4.60 for Mids and Highs Boston S50 Components in Front Boston S65 Coaxials in Rear 40 Sq Ft of Second Skin Damplifier Build Thread UBL 1948 Plymouth

RooTxBeeR Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 Just make sure you build the port to the frequency you want, might take a while to get the right dimensions.
