can someone explain my voice coils?

Recommended Posts

What is going on with this? when I put it in on the first amp both coils were sitting at .9 which didn't bother me at all. now one coil is sitting at .6. I was only running it on my punch 300.1 because that's what I had until everything stopped working. is there anything I can do or is this something that the other side will come down eventually as well?

Thanks

Sutton.

Next time she tries to punch you in the stomach, whip your wiener out and chase her around. Show her who's boss.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but would clipping cause excessive heat that could change the resistance of a coil?

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

There is a good chance it was clipped but not a ton. It was never ran at full tilt, ever. I never once even thought it could've gotten hot, not hot enough to short a coil together anyways
