Damn looks nice and sounds like its gonna be loud. Where are you from? And it probably gets decent gas milage I'm sure diesel ftmfw.

Its gonna be loud lol well it better if i turned my 6 seater truck into a 2 seater haha

Im originally from So Cal but I moved up to Reno to play football at UNR and go to school about 3 years ago...free school will get you to move about anywhere lol

But i no longer play, i stopped about a year ago and since have been working and going to school. it made no sense to move back to cali cause im so close to done i might as well wait it out.

Its not a diesel...i wish it was but GM has since discontinued the engine but it was called the Vortec 8100...its really good for towing and stuff like that but the coolest part is the allison tranny that thing is fire!!

o damn I figured since the Allison it was a diesel. Gas milage must kinda suck then lol. But I'm sure it'll be loud and lucky you living in Reno you can go pick your subs up.

cant wait to see this. but geez that thing must get horrid mileage

haha i have to laugh that off lol

i have a bullydog tuner..intake and what not like that and get about 10 MPG around town which isnt too bad but to get that milage i have to drive like grandma which is hard when i want to hear that big block roar lol

After i finish this system build im going to regear the rear end to try to help out the milage...or atleast get it back to stock milage which would be nice lol

Believe it or not, the 6.0 gets only slightly better fuel economy. ~13/16 And when towing...you'll murder it. lol You made the right decision.

I wish GM sill did the BB in the 3/4 tons. :/

You may be offended by the above. Don't take it personally, I'm just abrasive.

You have plenty of room for more mids and highs even more room than I do your doors are thinker than mine

I do have a lot for room but it would involve completely changing the door door panels like having them covered professionally. I don't really want to do that for one mainly cause I can't stand having anyone else work on my truck and because it'll cost a Lot

I mean I would do something like SM has cause that's super sick but then again that's a lot of money

Well that is the mail reason why i got the 8.1 because the 6.0 is almost no better and less balls. I complain about it but i wouldnt go another way if i had to do it again i would make the same decision. the truck is great no whims at all...until the transfer case goes out due to pump wear then ill be pissed

Me being so close to DC has been the biggest blessing I could have been given. DC has helped me every step of the way...i am no expert at this i just really enjoy doing. so their help has been huge for me to get my truck to the point that it is now. I could not be happier with their customer service or them as a company.

I would recommend anyone to get DC products they are great

thank you for your concern and yes i understand that. but there is a reason behind this impedance which is short is to get 2 more 3.5s (so one on each XL). then keep with the D2s and have each 3.5k at 1 ohm..leaving the draw very close to the same with the 4 amps.

The reason why it is at .5 right now is cause i wont have to recone all the subs in the very near future when i get the other 3.5ks if that makes sense.
