medley123
I just wanted to be sure I was doing this right... If I were to wire (2) 2 Ohm Subwoofers to (1) Amplifier, they would be wired at .5 Ohms? And if I wanted to wire them to 1 Ohm, I would need (2) 1 Ohm subs? kam311
To wire 2 subs to 1 ohm you need either 2 dual voice coil (dvc) 4ohm subs, or 2 dvc1 ohm subs. 2 dvc4's wires to 1ohm or 4ohms. 2 dvc2's wire to 2ohms or to .5 ohms. 2 dvc1's wire to 1ohm or to wtfl ohms! (wtfl=way too fucking low lol) Quote so far... kam311
^^^ that! My post is based on an assumption that you have dual voice coil subs (dvc) or that you havnt actually bought the subs yet, because you are just making sure. If they are single voice coil (svc) it's gunna change that up a bit tho lol Quote so far... kam311
Just one dvc?? Because for one subwoofer the wiring configuration is different also. Dvc 2 wires to 1ohm or 4ohm. Dvc 4 wires to 8ohm or 2ohm. Quote so far...
