I just couldn't bring myself to pay almost $90k for something that has the underpinnings of a 9 year old Mercury. Plus, I would be kind of embarrassed when people would want to go for a ride and it be slow as shit, or when you pop the hood and see a tired old 2.5L V6 lmao. Guest Wood Posted July 19, 2011 Report Share Posted July 19, 2011 my dads rail goes 0-170 in 7 seconds. for under 15k. comparing handling, straight line top speed, then acceleration is like comparing dolphins to elephants. the best all around car isnt gonna go 270 mph. cuz no where would that kind of speed be practical cuz it takes most of those cars YEARS to approach those speeds. and define "production" i know chassis builders that "produce" 300+ mph top fuel cars. and they do it in under 4 seconds. apples and oranges people.
