Kranny Posted July 22, 2011 Report Share Posted July 22, 2011 my buddy bought a sub/box/amp setup off of audiosavings. every connection is soldered. the subs are dual 4 ohm and are wired in series/parallel to 4 ohms, bridged to a 2 channel power acoustik (this was a replacement for a kenwood amp that actually came with the kit that we thought was bad). both amps go into protect at very low volume. i verified that the subs are wired at 4 ohms multiple times, using diagram from the12volt.com. but when i put my DMM on the speaker wires, the ohm load is all sorts of fucked up heres the meter attached to the amp speaker terminals with the speaker wire attached (subtract .8ohms for internal resistance) heres the meter attached to the cup terminal on the side of the box Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Quote Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
