not an L shaped port...just a slot. aproxx 17 inches deep...15 inches tall x 3 inches wide

Then it's probably a gain issue because you're using two amps. One gain may be slightly higher than the other

But how did you set the gains? What did you use to determine where to set each gain? My guess is they aren't set the same and/or you have an unloading issue.

set the gains by ear. no distortion. could prob turn em up more. but i get too much voltage drop. need a new fuckin alternator and extrra battery

i just dont get why one amp picks up the lows better...im using the older gray zx750...and a new 2010 zx750(black one)

could there be a diff between them in power and shit?

Yes. This is the problem. You set your gains wrong and the amps are different.

You didn't set your gains right. You can't match gains by ear. Which one picks up the lows better, the on closest or furthest fromthe port?

the one furthest from port...it also has the newer 2010 zx750 pushin it. and it is also the first in the line for my rca's...is it alright to use the pass-thru/ output to go to the 2nd amp. or would i be better off using a splitter?

and also. how do i set the gains good then?

FML. i jus wanna sell em both. and get a RF t-1500.

Using pass thru is fine. Gain matching is tricky, you have to measure the output voltage of both amps and make sure they are the same AND make sure neither amp is clipping.
