box spec help please!

i have a 1 18" dd 3500 and i have a 2g eclipse ...the box its in now is only around 4cubic ft and its just wayyy to small i wanted to kow how big i can go and stay tuned to the low 30s and help at all i would lovee thanks guyss!

what do you have powering the sub? that sub would probably do good in around 6 cubes then use torres box calulator to find out how big you port should be

i have a quantum audio 4000.1 on it at 1ohm

I use 2 DD 3518´s , at one time i had a single of this subs on a 6 c/f box using 2 8" aeros and sounded AWESOME, with the amount of power you have, i would do something like 6.5 c/f and 110SQ of port with a 33-35 hz tuning, no need for this sub to be tuned lower since it goes way lower than tuning frequency without any problems if the box design is right
