If you have the power to move the type r's ( a good Clean 1200-1400w) I would definatly take the type r's over the kickers. But if you only have 800-1000w the kicker 15"s will be better. But yeah my type hit harder and sounded better. But you'll be happy with either I would say hmm you got me thinking on the type r's again lol your right though im sure ill be happy with either. They are my go to mainstream budget sub when someone doesnt want to consider brands they have not heard of. True. Would they be louder than 15inch cvr's thou?
