Relyks
the turbo is brand new only kicks in 2nd gear any thoughts of why this maybe happening? Quote --> My Toyota Build Link / AudioQue Build . <-- Latest Update 1/16/
S15_Silvia
It's probably the gearing, and not the turbo at all... EDIT: I'm stupid. It could be the ECU not wanting the car to shred first gear with max power. OrionStang
Need more info. What year is the car? Factory turbo? What else was changed? As TeeJay asked, was it re-tuned? Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
chewie
the turbo should still be at least starting to spool in first gear. turbos work off exhaust gas pressure.. the more loaded the engine is the quicker the turbo spools. there may be something wrong with the turbo. chewie
if hes asking why his turbo isnt spooling than he shouldnt be touching a tune.. even on stock tune the turbo should at minimum build boost in first gear. and you realize the turbo will only fully spool up if your rompin on it.. it wont build any boost during normal babied driving. TeejayBee
well then my 2nd guess is do you have a boost gauge if so make sure its all connect correctly, only way to tell,

chewie
he shouldnt need to wait that long if he did a WOT pull in first .. but if you slowly accelerate. its not gonna spool Quote 91 dodge colt gt.. 4 custom t600 15s audioque 3500d.1 tuned to 25 hz... stay tuned. blazer stroker 15 brutus bxi2006d terrible voltage drop 145.4@38HZ...
