brake cleaner will do it

or what we have at work is a fluid used for removing adhesive but u cant just buy that stuff

I hate when people give bad advise.

Brake clener will eat the paint off his dash.

How about you go spray your hood with brake cleaner and see what happens.

Op. The stuff you want is called cosmoline. Avail at upholestery places.

Denatured alcohol from home depot will also work.

hahaha OP is not removing adhesive off his hood is he?

im pretty sure that dash panel is black all the way thru so cleaning it alittle is not going to "eat the paint off his dash"

This is simple.

If you still dont want to listen, go brake clean a small un noticable spot of plastic it your car.

Post back after it fux your plastic up.
