wrap my box smooth

Recommended Posts

well i built my first box... and it turned out pretty good for a rookie.. but i wanted it sprayed with bed-liner.. but they say it will look bad because of screws and seams so is there anything i can wrap it in first to avoid seeing these cosmetic defects?

to fix all those defects you need to bondo in all the screw and crevices and sand it down then paint it.

personally i dont think it would look that bad without that being done unless your edges dont line up very well

Bondo and a sander. Use the sander to knock down any overhangs, then bondo it all smooth. Perfection takes time.

i used wood filler on mine and sanded it smooth

another thing is: since it will be black and in your car it will have less light, so defects wont show aswell

Even with woodfiller i still had circles showing after i sanded - probably cuz im a dumbass
