Mesto Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 (edited) I have two amps that have only one channel on each my question is does it really matter how i wire them? friend told me to wire each sub to its own Amp but i want to know if it really matters... Like if i wire both subs parallel to one amp versus wiring both subs in parallel individually to there own seperate amp? my question is does it matter.. sorry if my question is confusing.... :mad: amps ohm loads. 1 ohm: 1200 watts x 1 chan. 2 ohms: 1000 watts x 1 chan. 4 ohms: 500 watts x 1 chan. 14.4v Edited October 25, 2007 by Mesto Quote

Mesto Posted October 25, 2007 Author Report Posted October 25, 2007 (edited) took them off because they're only 500 rms and the amp at 1 ohm is 1200 even though i was told the type rs can handle like 800-1000 watts.. ok i have the type rs so if i wire them to 1 ohm boom they're gone but ok i have some used mtx subs coming to me soon description says 1000watts rms...now does it matter if i wire them to one amp or should i just wire each sub to there own amp...
