Is it worth doing anything special to the inside of a sealed enclosure?

Forevrbumpn is building me an epic woofer, based on a Power HX2 motor. I specifically requested something that will be comfortable running in either a sealed or ported enclosure. I'm going to start it off in something sealed, and made from birch. My question is, would it make ANY appreciable difference to do something like fiberglass the inside and smooth it out? I'm definitely going to double baffle and brace the thing, but I wonder if anything else would enhance the enclosure in any way.

idk about the type of woofer you're using but kicker subs love polyfilled boxes, atleast the enclosures we've made with kicker subs made a night and day difference in the sound.

Due that thing justice and put it a ported box. That thing Is sexy. but as far as the interior of a sealed box I doubt smoothing it would do anything. But polyfill would be interesting or maybe second skin?????

I'm going to start it off sealed...see what happens. And I thought Forevrbumpn was only selling one motor??
