Ripping in ALAC and sending the file uncompressed to your iPod works as well. I'd assume most headunits would be able to handle ALAC that way. Otherwise just put it on an audio CD or an iPod and you're good to go. A head unit that plays Flac audio from a data CD? Show me please because that will be something I would like to get.
