I personally want to hear everyones input on this. I planned on getting 2 FI BL's in a 2001 4dr focus with a box tuning of 32hz. You build a sealed box firing into a ported box, tune the port in the mid to high 40's area and put the port through the rear deck or armrest area in the backseat. Just putting a port through the armrest or rear deck doesn't turn out too well. When i have the seats up i'm usually not using the subs. To ME it sounds good. People tell me it will sound better if blah blah blah. I could give a fuck about what people think when i tell them i hate the way it sounds faced towards the rear. Ive tried it. I don't like it. In the end you go with what you like and what sounds best to you. Before you go with what somebody else says though you have to try the different ways. See the panels on the sides of the box? You need to seal all the way around the box and also the rear deck.
