This will give you a much better answer than people on the forum guessing Thats what i want! THE METER! I am VERY aware these differences will only be audible too the meter, but thats what im going for! Very good idea on the wood 45 first! but i wish i had a termlab LOL. Dont do it on all walls! usually only helps ur score when the 45 is on the wall that the port faces, the others usually but not always just take up enclosure volume, lowering ur score! In my case i have no idea what too do. Due too it firing into a horn. im sure the wall that the port is firing against could use a 45, but im STILL iffy on 45'ing the corner between the port and the horn. But built by me "pretty ok/good wood worker". The old one was designed by me, and it SUCKED,FLEXED,BOGGED, hit good on only 4-5 frequencies. I tried to build kickers recommendations, but they suck. Which really leveing it a corner will do a better job of that then a 45 will in most cases sence air moves over air better then a different surface. Its not a REAL ported/horn. its just the horn part is shaped like one kinda, Im sure it just concentrates my air flow too the passenger side of the car, increasing my score, by manipulating the air flow. If u look at the design, and simply think about what the air is gunna do... its gunna shoot str8 out the port into the horn wall, bouncing back 180 degrees, shoot back hit the other side of the horn, thus reflecting on an angle. With the final bounce outcome being focused energy too the passenger side where the meter is. so all the horn really does is focus the bass to a certain point "Passenger windshield" of the car.
