Rise changes with every Freq.

so in a daily setup, you really shouldnt worry about rise

rise can also be fought with port efficiency and more power. If you have inefficient port then most likely you'll see higher rise. my nominal load is 1.2 the highest I've seen my rise is 1.6. But for the most part the few times I clamped my old amp rise was from 1.2 to 1.5 this was from 40hz to 55, going 40, 45, 50, 55. 55hz is where I saw 1.6 but also everything was hot and my voltage had dropped.

I've read on a few threads where people kept adding power to their subs which was the only thing they changed and their rise kept dropping

the way people make it out to be is what ever ohm load you wire down to,just think your actually a ohm load higher. example I'm wired to 2ohms but my amp only putting out 4ohm load. bummer

At the frequency you tested (or frequency you equipment measured at).

At some frequencies, you may be higher, at others you may be closer to DCR.

Impedance varies with frequency. Only was to know what you have is to test all frequencies and plot the results.

You get less rise as you shrink the box not make it bigger. Look at spl fart boxes small with a lot of port right? And I think rise counts for daily listening and comps. For example myself. I wire at .7 strapped which gives me .35 per amp. I clamped close to 12k out of my amps on a 37hz burp with my rise to 1 ohm. So that's .65 ohms of rise.my setup sounds great on music I can play in the 153s all day now if I was to wire up to 1.4 strapped my final impediance would be around 1.4 or higher. Which in turn would be less power out of my amps to my subs. Would it play music in the 153s I doubt it. Would I try to make it yes lol. And how do I do that? By trying to turn it up and clip my amps. So if you want a average loud system for daily wire it up. If you want it as loud as possible then try to wire it to get the most out of your amp
