And at the price it would take for a good amount of Fat Mat, you could purchase a smaller amount of Second Skin, Audio Technix, or Dynamat that will be more effective... Quote Bassless once again. So if you want it to deaden, you'll have to load the panels with mass. Even then, you can get better results with other products, like ones that are specifically designed to deaden sound and kill vibrations.
