And we later plan to add 4 more speakers so we can wire each channel to 2 ohms and split the power giving each speaker 60 watts. blownengine
Eighty is an average place to set your HPF. Its where I set all mine Quote 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT (Yea its got a Hemi)Alpine CDA-105KnuKonceptz 0ga CCA Big 3 with Yellow Top 15" SoundQubed HDC3DC Audio 1.2K (Bass)Pioneer 6x9's (Front)Pioneer 6.5's (Rear)Kicker 3.5's (Dash)Sony amp on the highs. Autruche
That amp would work fine, but that is pretty damn low for a set high pass filter. For instance, if you have your low pass on your bass amp set to 80, you'd want your 4 channel's high pass set to about 110-120. With the high pass at 80, you'd want your bass amp's low pass at about 65. Just doesn't seem right to me. I'd personally recommend MB Quart's amps if you are looking for a cheap 4 channel. Edit: The filter settings would only really be necessary if your bass and midbass are matched right and they blend together like they should. Its going to be tuned with the DD-1 Also on that amp the low pass only meaning it filters out Ferquencies above where it is set correct?? meaning the only option would be 80 for me http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_19566_Rockford-Fosgate-PRIME-R300-4.html This?????
