Would this amp work for these speakers? I have no clue considering it only has the Low pass filter... BUT it has the HP-8O hz So i assume i turn it to that, then what do you do turn the low pass to 80 or all the way down??? I just need to know if it will work and not sound like total dog shit

Yes that will work fine. My friend has those speakers, they are pretty nice. He has his on abn AQ 90x4

can you run active with with coax?????. i had to buy a new set Cause i blew a speaker in a door LOL.. Blasting loud metal :D

the AQ seems a little powerful. for 50 watt speakers

the AQ seems a little powerful. for 50 watt speakers

It is kinda powerful. But we have the gain low. And we later plan to add 4 more speakers so we can wire each channel to 2 ohms and split the power giving each speaker 60 watts.

Ah Im assuming on my amp im getting i just set it to (HP-Eighty) hertz and be done with it???

Eighty is an average place to set your HPF. Its where I set all mine

That amp would work fine, but that is pretty damn low for a set high pass filter. For instance, if you have your low pass on your bass amp set to 80, you'd want your 4 channel's high pass set to about 110-120. With the high pass at 80, you'd want your bass amp's low pass at about 65. Just doesn't seem right to me.

I'd personally recommend MB Quart's amps if you are looking for a cheap 4 channel.

Edit: The filter settings would only really be necessary if your bass and midbass are matched right and they blend together like they should.

i was actually wanting those but didnt have no reviews no one had it. Hope its reliable... Its going to be tuned with the DD-1

Also on that amp the low pass only meaning it filters out Ferquencies above where it is set correct?? meaning the only option would be 80 for me
