WOW NO KICKER Your going to buy shit... that people comment like this "These speakers pound!! I have 2 12s with a DX 1000.1 kicker amp with bass boost all the way up and gain a little over a half and they sound like there gonna blow my back windshield out." That sounds like me and im still a noob till this day. But got to give it up to l7s. I ran them like this for 1 year, they smelled like shit half the time and my hifonics hfi 2000 whent into protection mode so many times( thought they smelled because they where new and needed to be broken in ). But they lasted a hole year. It wasnt untill I used a hi low adaptor that was installed in my avalanche (new car)that 1 blew(only running one at the time) and I think it had somthing to do withthe fact that the shop hooked up my hi low adaptor wrong and all hi and low signals where coming throu it. But yea once they blow you have a paper weight

Guest s.wright_ Posted January 2, 2017 Report Posted January 2, 2017 I have 2 kicker L3s and I love them. But I don't feel I'm getting the most out of them. I have some shit brand 500 watt amp and running 8guage wire. Any one got any suggestions on an amp?
