Testing for tuning frequency ???

Do I have to have expensive audio equipmemt ?

Or, is their some kind of test track which will let me play a bunch of test notes, and do my own "fairly accurate" reading ?

Note: "I think" I know what my box is hitting at.... I mean, it has adjustable port tuning, from about 26hz to 35 hz, and it acts exactly as I would have expected, while I was building it, anywhere in this port tuning range.

It would still be kind of cool though, to see how close to dead-freaking-on my box was actually hitting.

you need a termlab, and run a sweep.. from lets say 100hz down to 30hz, the reason i say 100hz, is because sometimes you might have a peak in the 60s...

you would be suprised, just because it feels louder at 35hz doesnt mean its the loudest spl wise at 35hz, it might be 57hz

Does anybody know of where I could go up here in Nor Cal (I live about half way between San Fran, and Sac, so I can travel either way (but I don't go either way LOL

u could ask joe (00sdime00), he lives near the bay & has a termlab, mr P is usually using it tho .
