So I am trying to estimate what ohm load (series or parallel) that would be in order to plan for sub, amplifier and box build cost. I am currently interested in: 5 subwoofers DVC (2 ohm) 6 subwoofers DVC (2 ohm) Currently have 2 subwoofers DVC (2 ohm), so please do not recommend switching to SVC or 4 ohm subs. Thanks. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. shake n bass Posted September 2, 2011 Report Share Posted September 2, 2011 best site to use! i used this site for years and dont listen to guy says even number of subs its up to you on that its your build. best i can tell you is wire them series and parallel both so you get good ohm load to your amp such as wiring them series on the subs and parelle to amp should get u .8 ohm load. most 1 ohm stable amps can take this daily after box rise. But again for the helpful information.
