If you want subs that sound good and can get 'nasty loud', you're probably looking at IDMAX. You won't need anywhere near the amount of power you think though. A solid 1kW from a non-POS amp & the right box will be enough to chase you out of the car. I don't understand why anyone would want a system with 24kW of power when 1/20th of that is enough to blur your vision and make you nauseous until you turn the volume down. Yeah.... I think you're on the wrong website.

But, if you were to put multiple 1000kw subs that have an SQ base, youll get the cone area, plus the quality! Say you run 8 12" IDMAX, throw 10-12kw at them at a semi flat tune of 20-25hz, youll have a semi sq setup that is nasty loud! Plus an amazing front stage, hell your set!
