AUDIOADDICT02 Posted September 7, 2011 Report Share Posted September 7, 2011 so this weekend i changed the valve cover gaskets on my 94 mazda 626 & afterward it had poor acceleration & i heard a clicking noise by the distributor.. (probally really stupid to do), but i pulled a wire off the distributor while the car was running & it shocked me , turned off, & wouldn't start back up...is there any specific thing that could have been burned out by that? brownm3 Posted September 23, 2011 Report Share Posted September 23, 2011 (edited) I am going to throw this out there because i just got my car out of the shop 2 days ago. I was having issues with my throttle and they said i probably needed my throttle body cleaned and if that didnt work replacing my throttle body, which would have been about $800 for my Mazda 3. But they cleaned and its running a little better now but from what I read once you get your throttle body cleaned it takes a while for the computer to get up to speed.
