Adjust the gain -- DMM method doesn't work very well, IMO. If you have NO voltage drop you aren't getting much power.

The 4th order probably has a nice box rise across most of the bandwidth as well.

So I should just keep turning gain until I see nice voltage drop?

Find your peak freq with the box then adj gain be careful u won't hear subs distort and will blow them easy. As far as voltage drop box rise is most likely the culprit.

SUB AMP: 2-dc7.5s

ALTERNATORS: 3-mechmans 1- 425comp, 1-smd spec350, 1-270 with adj voltage harness on custom dc bracket

WIRE:10-runs 0g front to back

BATTERIES:6-d1400s

TL results:157.1 at 38hz and 156.8 at headrest score @37hz. STATE AND NATIONAL RECORD IN MECA S5.

are they new subs ? if so when they break in it will make a big difference
