Volt meter question

I have a stinger volt meter but where would be the best location to take the voltage from, i keep getting mixxed opinions and answers. I got a stock battery up front and an hc2000 in the back. At the amp? At the alt? at the front bat? at the rear bat? lmk opinions thanks

whichever you want the voltage to read from.... i run mine to the rear battery where my amp pulls from but i think its mostly preference

you bass amp or w/e draws the most current ;)

also put the meter to where its not up in your face cause they're funkin bright

Im leaning towards the rear bat since its voltage is really close to what the amps getting

Haha, the LED must be like the fucking aq bass knobs they are blinding.

Im also thinking of running my remote line into my fuse box under my dash and fitting it into an accessory plug

From what I have read can’t you just install the volt meter to any 12v source (the front battery) just to get it working and take your reading from the source you want (the battery closet to the amplifier) and adjust the volt meter.

From what I have read you will need to get a reading and have it adjusted anyways, so wouldn’t this method work to?

Back battery or amp. My meter has saved me amps and subs. You want to know when your voltage is dropping dangerously low when playing fulltilt to turn it down. Don't demo at idle that's the worst

Back battery or amp. My meter has saved me amps and subs. You want to know when your voltage is dropping dangerously low when playing fulltilt to turn it down. Don't demo at idle that's the worst

Do you have your voltmeter running directly from your amp?
