TRTC360
Hifonics are better then people give credit for; if I had your electrical, i would run .5 and not worry about it x2 anything that's higher than their hfi series is good, sure it's not DC, sundown, stetsom, etc etc but sure as hell are not bad amps, best bang for your buck if you ask me, they've had their fair share of huge amps in the past also. adam6604
yeah im sure ill hear a diff.. well according to the ratings im running at 1700rms right now, and with my huge box im assuming i have some pretty high Rise going on so im like 90% sure im not getting 1700rms at 2 ohms.. im guessing more like 1400-1500.. so if i go .5 i should be over 2400 correct? with rise etc ill be below probably lol but ill try to find out how to clamp it and really find out lol. Torres
what makes you think you'll gain 900 watts? you'll gain more heat to the amp and current draw than power most likely imo
adam6604
it was just a quick crappy math idea that 2400( 1 ohm rating ) - 1700 ( 2 ohm rating ) would equal 900 LOL not sure how i passed my classes last year. haha Quote Driving my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 MEGA cab with the 5.7 hemi.
