jeyrapboy
Heres what will solve your issue...ready? Sure you're ready? Blowthrough. Be a man. I would rather save the blowthrough for something worth while, Im gonna go look at some blowthrough builds Seal it. Oh yea i can run sealed no problem, But i love my lows thats why i was trying my damnedest to go ported
dohckiller808
Unless you can tune real low ported, the sealed box will kill the lows. It just won't peak. I love the sound of sealed with the cross over set right. You should try sealed with a ton of power. You won't be disappointed.

Did pretty well for its self

Maybe its just because the only sealed boxes I've heard were either for 8s or were prefabs, but I have yet to hear a sealed box that "kills" lows. After ~32-35 it just gets muddy. Edited September 12, 2011 by BJD3 Quote Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above. Most people don't make the sealed box big enough. Bigger the sealed box the better the lows. Stuffing it with polyfill will help quite a bit.
