Oh yea i can run sealed no problem, But i love my lows thats why i was trying my damnedest to go ported

Unless you can tune real low ported, the sealed box will kill the lows. It just won't peak.

I love the sound of sealed with the cross over set right.

You should try sealed with a ton of power. You won't be disappointed.

I had about 1200 going to it (rated 800) in my ported box in the jeep. Did pretty well for its self

Most people don't make the sealed box big enough. Bigger the sealed box the better the lows. Stuffing it with polyfill will help quite a bit.

Ok so i went and took some more measurements and i was able to to get quite a bit more room.

Still playing with the tuning and figuring out how i want this box to fire, If you have any suggestions on that let me know.

do everything you can to tune it lower i have a sub in a box at 44 hz. cant hit the lows for shit. would much rather have a sealed over a box tuned at 38+
