Just because theres a new baby getting lots of attention, dosnt mean the big girl is forgotten!! Pulled her out to lay on the couch and watch some American Chopper Senior vs Jr with daddy!

She has gained more weight since I last posted pics too, shes on a crazy growth spurt. She just shed yesterday. she looks so much smaller when shes around me and the couch and not stretched out. Shes fuckin heavy, hurts my back taking her in and out of the cage, my fiance needs to help me every time

The snake u posted is close, the one I saw must have been photo shopped because it was glowing electric lime green with vibrant red eyes. But the new addition is awesome bro, very cool. Ur gonna need a new, bigger house with all the reptiles u want haha.

damn dude craftsmanship is awesome as always. as for all the snakes holy shit, im in no way a snake lover (lol) but i couldnt quit reading and looking at these pics. to the guy who posted on page 1 about the phobia no worries dude i myself have had a long time phobia of snakes, its taken some work (close to pissing my pants most of the time) but im now ok around snakes, im still nervous but i can be in the same room with one now as long as i know its there (i scream and run like a bitch if i get surprised by one lol). best ways to get used to snakes or atleast for me was to

1. go to your local zoo and go to the reptile place and walk through it a few times and just ignore the bastards. after you get "comfortable" try to stand at one cage for a few minutes and just observe the animal, they are really beautiful

2. try to find a friend or someone who owns one that you can go and handle or atleast touch while the owner handles it as you get more comfortable you should be able to hold it yourself.

back to numatik i saw you said you had cobras and rattle snakes all i can say is wtf man lol that must have been "interesting" do you have any pics of them?

and i actually have a friend who is really into minitruckin, i myself love what people do to them, but dont think i would ever do it myself, prefer that money on a system lol

Yeah it had to have been. I bet that Green Tree Python is what they started with tho. They are just stunning snakes, absalutly gorgeous. They are what I can 'trophy snakes' because you cant hande them. They get very stressed out and die when you do, so you keep them in there cage all the time, feed the, give them water and heat, and look at them. Also if you were dumb enough to hold them knowing those facts, they will bite the shit out of you over and over and over. They are NOT friendly in the slightest.

My fiance has still been collecting tropical rainforest plants, and she said shes going to order some online from hawaii as well. Yes TROPICAL PLANTS not ones you can smoke people

Everybody scared of snakes should read that and give it a try!! Thats great to go from being scared shitless to comfortable, thats great you found a system that works for you. Once you get past that stage you can realize there nothing to be scared of. All wild snakes is wayyy more scared of you, then you are of them. OR tame captive snakes are totally chill and wondering why your scared! lol

I have pics somewhere, Im going to have to look on some old hard drives, because I was a teenager when I had all of them, I think I was 12-13-14 or so years old. The rattlers were trophy snakes, I caught them very carefully, kept them a while, and let them go. My cobra I had imported from Indonesia (and didnt get flagged by customs) and raised her from a baby. she was a False water cobra, a rear fanged snake that packed alot of venom, but if she bit a human we would not get injected unless a finger went down her throat. Within a year of me having her, the snakes became legal in CA, so I spent a shitload of money importing her for nothing!! She died several years later. We thing her bowels got plugged up and killed her from not completely digesting a meal. She was a very tame sweetheart. I would handle her multiple times a week and she never once bit me, not even as a baby. she was born mellow and nice

Its a humans first reflex to pull away from possible pain, it took me a long time to not react differently. Iv been bit so many fucking times tho, jesus.

lol far from comfortable but as long as its tame im ok, oh and another thing try to find someone with a corn snake or something similar to handle youll be less likely to shit your self when the snake is relatively small versus something big like your "big girl"

Hahaha. Yeah Ball Pythons, Childrens Pythons, Blood Pythons, misc King Snakes are all good snakes to add to the list with Corn Snakes. If your less uneasy after handling the smaller guy regularly I'm sure handling the big girl wouldnt be so scary. Shes big, but shes a big teddy bear. Shes a sweetheart, and as long as you dont do anything to hurt her, or try and piss her off, you'll be fine. She loves being out of her cage. She dosnt get handled when shes hungry, shedding, or I read that shes in a bad mood. Snakes do have moods, and I can read her pretty well.

Heres the big girl being transported to her new cage. She may not look heavy, but she is VERY heavy and I struggle carrying her these days. Usually we move her with 2 people, but Julie was making the video. My digital camera sucks, I think I get better pics and vids from my iphone 3g

Some cool pics of Gillian cruising around, and she went straight for that new water dish and started chugging. She must like it because she had a full bowl of water in her old cage and she couldnt care less about it a earlier lol.

Each door has a vertical latch, then theres the latch between each door that has a combination masterlock

Julie started some of the new plants outside, so we only have a few in the jungle room so far, and some fake ones to take up space till the other ones grow
