ChrisAllen Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 im pretty done with the motor other than gettin it running. only real thing is im going to clean it up fix some dents n get new battery.but motors done for now. What ended up happening with the engine? Sucked a valve or?
pimpnFosgates Posted December 6, 2011 Author Report Posted December 6, 2011 i let it sit a while. pulled the valve cover checked some stuff out. one of my lifters was sticking and 3 tappets were bent. i also still need to fix that damn intake leak.its a biotch.but i gave her a good oil change. flushed radiator got a new thermostat. got her running. i need to fix intake leak and set my timing better. something i cant do til intake leak and carbs r tuned.
