Need help with my first box, i just want to make sure that i got everything right before i spend time and money. i have had 2 12" Audiobahn aw121t woofers sitting around, and decided to do something about it. I have all the specs listed below: Fs - 33.4hz qts - .64 Qes - .69 Qms - 8.89 Vas(litres) - 49 Vas(Cu. Ft. - 1.71 Re - 3.3 Le - 2.42mh Mmd - 148grams Xmax - RMS - 550 Sd - .048 Freq Resp - 26hz - 1khz Efficiency - 92.8 Displacement - .15 They recommended this for 1 sub for SPL: air space - 3.2 port size - 4x10.5 port velocity - 6.54 -3db - 29hz Tune freq - 38hz Sub disp - .15 port disp - .141 total vol - 3.5 cu. ft. My dimensions, designed to fit recommended SPL setup by AudioBahn: Box H - 40 in W - 97.5 in D - 60.25 in Port H - 5 in W - 10 in D - 12 in Will this be the best setup to get some good numbers and hit lows. I dont want to really annoy the full pros on this since its not serious, but in the future i got some plans. melb-bass Posted September 21, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 21, 2011 Well this is the final design of the box, it has changed around 5 times till i got something that will fit, yep i built 5 test boxes to see if they fit in the trunk. this box is roughly 40hz or there abouts, hope it sounds good.
