Berto
Oh and didn't you post a thread like last month with almost the exact same original post. Maybe. Your point ? Fish Waste of forum space. You could have just bumped that thread. Trolling much? No need for drama. It's the OT section, let the man do what he wants. There's plenty of space on the internet. Drama, me? lol Yeah there is space on the Internet that people pay for. So it's pretty pointless to start the same exact thread you started a month ago. Not a year, 1 MONTH. Fish Chris
Sorry Berto, but I honestly didn't remember posting such an identical post a month ago. And apparently, among three pages of interesting replies, nobody else did either..... Or else, it just didn't bother them enough to mention it. When I see a post that I think I already know the basics of, and don't care to hear any more about it, I just choose not to even open that post. But maybe that's just me. Have a nice day Fish
riveracc1
Hi guys and sorry to bump in this thread but I've seen this happen. Not music wise BUT the hardcore CB radio guys have been pumping 100KW rms + for decades. They normally use the same platform vehicle for most of these installs...the Chevy Suburban. With a modified 454 engine and ingenious crativity I have seen installs of up to 18 Leece Neville alternators on a single engine. There is even a couple of "Dual Engine" marvels out there. With a 12 (320A) alternator install the math would be very close to 60KW. Here are a couple of pics i have from file.
riveracc1
I'm from Puerto Rico and down here the big thing is "Open SPL" where hi wattage Brazilian amplifiers coupled to 8 ohm pro-audio speakers are the norm. I guess the only7 limitation for a huge wattage system would only be the amount of internal space in the vehicle but from what we are seeing, "internal" is not a limitation anymore. Here's a few more pics from our local big boys.
