marknotts
for a good 12" sub....i would go with TC sounds....i think they are the best of both worlds(sound Quality and they move like crazy) But TC sounds is now audio pulse. Go to www.tcsounds.com and it will take you to audiopulse then click on bass drivers and and then the EPIC is the TC-1000. i own 2 12" TC-1000s and they are frickin great!!!! Now they look like good subs. Got any SPL figures for your set up? Which audiopulse model are the TC's equivalent too. Im looking at the epics, two 8"epics would fit nicely and be something a little different to the usual set ups round here. I wonder how they would compare on output and power handling to the DD1508's? Or would I be better with a single 12" epic or maybe even the 12" REVO? BASS14
The EPIC is the same thing as the TC-1000s. They are literally the same sub the only difference is on the TC-1000 the frame and the cone are silver and then the EPIC the frame is Blue and the cone is black. And the Revo is the the same thing as the TC-2000. if it was me i would get a 1 or 2 12"s i wouldnt get 8" yea it would be diff. but the 12" would be louder.with my 1000s i am rite around 140-145db in a ford ranger. eventually i want to step up to 2-4 of the LMS ultras Quote Vehicle-2014 Ford Fusion on 20" cruiser alloy obsessionsSubs-4 8" sundown audio E8v3 Sub Amp-Hifonics Brutus Elite 1200.1box-2.8cubes after all dis tuned to 32hz 4" aeroMids and highs-2 sets of Memphis PR 6.5 components Mids amp-Hifonics Brutus Elite 800.4 Deck-Factory IntegrationWiring-Memphis40sqft of damplifier Pro http://www.youtube.c...14?feature=mheeSMD SUPER BUYER/SELLER
BASS14
The EPIC is recomended 300-800w RMS and the REVO is 700-2000w RMS so they can take the power....mine r running at 600 RMS and but i turn them up more for burps. AI James
they would probably sound better, but not be as loud as the 1508. as for the TC stuff, unless you find a dealer /or them used. IMO none of thier drivers are worth thier new prices. I owned thier 5400 sub and thier 3000. both were decent sub output wise, and very "pretty" but if i was spending that kinda money i rather give the money to a company like RE or SI. As i've said before I dont like companies who rate a product for 2000rms then the owner of the company tells you to run 4000rms AT LEAST on the sub to get best output, then when the sub blows say, " oh we cant do anything about it because you ran it well over rms" to quote a popular thread here....FUCK THAT SHIT

marknotts
It always seems to come back to DD or RE, they must be the business! Might just buy this: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/audio-mx12-p-4967.html or 2 of these: http://www.ddaudio.com/dd/GalleryWoofers/2...508TopAngle.jpg and be done with it!
