D-train-13k Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 if you make it stupid smooth im pretty sure it doesnt matter. most people only prefer mdf to birch because of the resonating frequency. but the birch is a little stronger. especially 11ply. the resin should have the same concept as you did on the mdf.
