And just in case you have never heard of them, they are a small co. in Las Vegas that make voltage boost modules for a lot of vehicles! If you have a car and XS or Mechman doesn't have the module you need, chances are MLA does! I just ordered an adjustable VBM for my PT, I will post videos of before and after, as well as shots of the actual module itself! Should be here in about 10 days! Here are some pics, I hope to get it installed tomorrow! My batteries should LOVE this! Well she took a little longer than expected to get it, but overall I am happy with the way it looks. Let's just hope I am just as happy about the way it preforms!!! Oh, and from my build thread. I have 07 avalanche so I know exactly the voltage issues you guys are having with the pcm shutting off the alternator. Instal was easier than I expected, and overall I am really happy with my purchase! Here are some pics of the install! Fist thing was get stuff out of my way! So I could get to this But as you can see, the wire I needed was kinda tricky to find, since there were 7 or 8 of them the exact same color! So I decided to try the to get it right before it went into the PCM Found it! So now some tape and care when putting it on! And that part is pretty much done, other than a few zip ties! So now on to a mounting location. Hmm, this looks good to me! All cleaned up and mounted! And how bout a jumper ground? I think so! And there she is, fully installed! And here is a little video I made when I first started the car after the install. Hear the fear in my voice when at first I forget to turn the HU on, which powers my volt meters! And yeah I know, I'm a dork! That's why I hate talking in videos! Hope this helps someone somewhere! And IMO it is well worth it, especially if you can't get anything from XS or Mechman. Than this is your answer!
