I have a burp from before on you tube, maybe this week I can get an "after" for you to compare with.

But if you are still charging in the 13's, then you really should get this! You will be happy you did! :drinks:

That would be awesome mate, very interested on this, i´m actually gonna bump this topic everytime i can until you get that video lol. No, i´m not charging in the 13´s , i´m doing 14.5v right now, but i think it´s a very nice gain for such a small amount of money; What it worries me, and it´s the reason i´m asking you a video, is that you are only getting more voltage and not amperage with this thing, i dunno if it would be a gain to your ears and on the meter because it might just charge your batteries faster and that´s it, i did something like this to my suzuki swift alternator , i could charge on the 15´s just by pressing a switch , but i didn´t get any louder with this on the ears or on the meter, here´s the video:

Awsome...glad to see people are still into MLA even though its not endorsed on SMD anymore. I loved mine when I was using it. Only reason I dont use mine anymore is becasue it wont charge a 14v battery, wish it would.

On the note of charging too high. When i still had a 12v system I ran all Kinetik batteries and never had an issue when the switch on the MLA was set to High...not saying you wont have a problem but i never had any issues. In the winter months I got my voltage up real high on cold mornings...like 16v sometimes. Batteries are still good to this day. Honestly though unless your doing a comp or something then there really isn't a need to have it on high, just do your daily on the low setting.

Good shit right here, more people need to look into MLA.

Nice input, what about gains? did you get louder to your ears when you turned the MLA on? im really interested to know if it only charges your batteries faster like the video i posted, or if it really gets you louder!

I will post the video as promised, but just going by ear I don't notice any difference. Although I did have to re-adjust my gains after installing the MLA, since I gained about a volt. But honestly I think it's mostly just for charging. That is why I needed mine, these mopars only want to allow charging voltage to be at 13.6 +-, sometimes as low as 13.1 on a good hot day. My batteries didn't really like this and I had to charge them once every week or so. Now, they rest at 13.1 and I haven't had to charge them yet. So to me, it was needed. Hope this helps! :drinks:
