i've always wondered something. is say 155db at 25hz or 155 db at 80hz.? or would the be the same since the have the same db rating

they are the same loudness. but the lower frequency will create more pressure making it appear louder

I've been in a 28hz 156db vehicle. It didn't hurt but was impressive anything above 40 especially 50 an up will digggggg! in your ear and sound a lot louder

a 156 at 28hz is alot more impressive than at 50 or 60hz.

I agree with this. It's not easy being that loud at that low of a frequency. I love lows
