BASS14 Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 i am trying to figure out a good design for a pure SPL box to in my Ford Ranger Extended cab? i dont know kind of a design to build....i have heard of a lot of different ways to build a box to go in a ranger and i just thought i would get the opinions of the expierienced....so any ideas or suggestions would be great! andym85 Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 somebody will probably chime in with more experience with rangers...i did sub forward on passenger side and port on the side on the drivers side...it was noticeably louder on the drivers side, so that probably wouldnt be the way to go since the sensor is on the passenger side...i would try sub forward, port up...or sub up and port up...big box and big port tuned kinda high... i likes me some audio stuff...
BASS14 Posted November 7, 2007 Author Report Posted November 7, 2007 Yea the Box that is in there rite now is built with an angle so the subs are angled back twords the window and then the ports are 3-1/2in aero ports and they are on the top with the subs....ill try to get some pics of the setup on here tonight or a.s.a.p tho. Forevrbumpn Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 lol... pics of box?? I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
