fmedina Posted October 2, 2011 Report Share Posted October 2, 2011 Lower the resistance the more power the amp puts out. That amp will throw 2200+ rms at 1 ohm. And stock electrical won't cut it for that much power. Would need at least big 3 done with upgraded bat up front and couple big batteries in the back. His amp even goes into protect after 20 or 30 minutes of the car being on accessory doubt your friend is running "2k". maybe 500 rms. and it goes into protect because he drains his battery.
