Whats better. the FI X, or the FI Q?

Recommended Posts

I want to get an FI sub. I have decided i am either going to get the FI X or Q. Which one is better and for what reason. Also, what brand of amp would work best for the sub. I am considering a Fosgate. thanks.

First you post it in the wrong section, move the thread to the subsection.

The Fi X is a great first sub. While the FI Q on the other hand - I would only look at if you have some experience. An amp needed to power a Fi Q will most likely need some upgrades to the electrical system of your car(I am assuming a car because you said you wanted a RF amp).

What do you want to do with the sub?

I have a 12" Fi Q on the way, should be here on Tuesday. My goal was to put it in a sealed enclosure. Now Ive been told that just about everyone that put a Q in a sealed enclosure has had issues. I don't know if the source is reliable. I'm starting to wonder if I made a bad choice. Can anybody shed any light on this?
